Dr. Michael Anderson, DO

Dr. Michael Anderson is a 3rd-generation Pocatello native. He and his wife, Katie, both graduated from Highland High School in 2005. Dr. Anderson speaks Portuguese, having served a mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2011 he graduated from BYU, earning his degree in Economics. He attended medical school in Yakima, Washington at Pacific Northwest University - College of Osteopathic Medicine. He spent the first 2 "classroom" years of med-school in Yakima and then was able to come back home for the final 2 "clinical" years in and around Pocatello. Dr. Anderson worked with many local physicians acting as his adjunct clinical faculty; sharing their knowledge and experience practicing medicine in Southeast Idaho. He completed his residency and received Family Medicine board certification at the Henry Ford Health System in Jackson, Michigan. Dr. Anderson, his wife, and three kids are excited to be back in Pocatello.
